Manama, Bahrain: Beyon has been recognised with two prestigious accolades at the Transform Awards MEA 2026, winning bronze awards in ‘Best Brand Architecture Solution’ and ‘Best Brand Evolution (Corporate)’ categories, in recognition of the Group’s strategic transformation of its telecommunications brands.

The awards recognize Beyon’s strategic approach to evolving its telecommunications brand portfolio in support of the Group’s development into a broader technology business and also recognise the Group’s creative team who developed the concept and design entirely in-house. Rather than replacing long-established telecom brands, Beyon adopted an endorsed “by Beyon” brand architecture that strengthened the connection between Batelco, Umniah and Sure and the Beyon Group, while preserving the trust, heritage and market equity each brand has built over decades.

The transformation was delivered through a phased rollout across Bahrain, Jordan and the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, supported by a unified design system, extensive employee engagement and coordinated implementation across digital platforms, retail environments and customer touchpoints. The resulting brand architecture provides a scalable framework that supports Beyon’s continued growth while presenting a clear and consistent Group identity across its expanding portfolio.

The Transform Awards MEA celebrates excellence in brand strategy, creativity and design across the Middle East and Africa, recognising organisations that demonstrate outstanding achievement in branding and corporate transformation.

Shaikh Bader bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer at Beyon, said: “We are honoured to receive these two prestigious Transform Awards, which recognise the strategic thinking, disciplined execution and collaboration that underpinned our brand transformations. Our objective was never simply to refresh our visual identity, but to create a brand architecture that reflects who we are today and supports where we are going as a technology group.”

He added, “These awards are a testament to the dedication of our teams across multiple markets and reinforce the importance of creating a brand system that can evolve alongside the business while preserving the trust our customers place in our brands.” The award-winning programme demonstrates how established brands can evolve to reflect a changing organisation while preserving the trust and local relevance that underpin long-term brand value. By creating a future-ready brand architecture that aligns Beyon’s telecommunications portfolio under a shared corporate vision, the brand architecture provides a scalable foundation to support continued expansion across existing and emerging technology sectors.
